I love vintage cookie cutters, even though I rarely make cut out cookies anymore.  They remind me of  all the wonderful times spent in the kitchen with my mother.

Easy Caramel Popcorn

          This recipe comes from a 1992 ad.  The popcorn is similar to Cracker Jack popcorn.

Scaredy Cat Cake

This is a recipe I clipped out of a Redbook in October 1986.  I don't remember using the recipe, but I love the directions for cutting the cake to make the cat.

 

 

 

 

Carving The Pumpkin

This Norman Rockwell print always evokes memories of family to me.  The pipe reminds me of my father.  I can almost smell the Prince Albert tobacco wafting up.  It makes me want to gather the kids now and carve a pumpkin.

 I think these kittens from Woman's Day Magazine are adorable.  The kids will love them.
